Chris was part of our ACES day activities, and he devised a programme that all classes took part in, held in our school hall. The children were involved in circuits beginning with a warm up. All children moved around stations and were highly active throughout the session, ending with a cool down. He was then part of our ‘Healthy Week’ and came for the day to work with each class. He planned a series of activities and games to teach the children about being active and healthy, staying fit and having fun.
Chris showed he was able to relate very well to the children. He was able to plan sessions that were at the right level for our youngest children, right up to the older ones. His ideas were always fun, safe and very active. The children really enjoyed them and staff said that his visit added so much more to our events as the children were able to work with an expert. His highly personable manner and obvious dedication to his work shone through. We will definitely be inviting him in for future sports activities.
Ladycross Infant School
I have been training with Chris for around a year now. I needed some help to achieve a personal goal of competing in a sprint triathlon and asked him to provide this.
Although I had already attended some of Chris’ classes at the gym, he began by assessing my fitness level in order to provide a comprehensive programme for me. Every training session was different, so there was no chance of getting bored! Chris encouraged me to try a new approach to my training by working with different equipment, such as kettle bells.
The sessions were always friendly and relaxed, but you really felt a sense of achievement after completing the session. Chris is great fun to be with, always offering encouragement and he will push you to achieve your own goals. He also provided more than just a personal training programme by also offering advice on diet and how to prepare for any future races.
Thanks to Chris, I completed my first triathlon in September 2010 and who knows what this year might bring. If you want to achieve a goal, no matter how big or small, contact Chris, I would highly recommend his services.

I have been training with Chris for a year. My initial aims were to get fit, tone up and feel less stressed through exercise.
Chris began by assessing my lifestyle and diet, including giving advice on nutrition and the principles behind the way he works.
I have found Chris to be an excellent personal trainer. He has been 100% committed to me in my sessions with him. He is completely focused upon giving the client the best possible advice and support. His knowledge of nutrition, exercises and fitness is exemplary.
Every session I have had so far has moved my fitness levels on and he will always bring new ideas and routines to progress further. This keeps his sessions fresh and stimulating with a good level of challenge. He has been able to use a variety of approaches and equipment, including boxing, kick-boxing, a TRX trainer, kettlebell and medicine ball. He has also given advice on nutrition and has even assessed the contents of my fridge to ensure training and diet are working together.
He is extremely professional and a genuinely great guy who is a pleasure to work with, being personable and positive with a sense of humour.

I’ve been a regular at Pulse Gym, Ripley for the last ten years. When Chris started working at the gym he developed some training programs for me after finding out what I was trying to achieve. I also started having weekly one to one push-rounds, which I really enjoyed.
The sessions were friendly, light hearted and relaxed but Chris always remained professional and encouraged me to work hard. Chris always gave me encouragement to push further and not just stay in my ‘comfort zone’ – but nothing unattainable.

I've been personal training with Chris for six months now. I've always gone to the gym but my routine was getting boring and I had seen that Chris was an excellent instructor at my gym. We started personal training and Chris motivated and encouraged me to try new things I had never tried before or even considered myself capable.
